Description
This listing comes with a pair of Dragonfly Mallets.
Born in Taipei, Taiwan, Cynthia Yeh received a bachelor of music performance degree from the University of British Columbia and a master of music performance degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, where she studied with Alan Abel. Yeh joined the Chicago Symphony Orchestra as principal percussion in June 2007.
The double-sided fleece covering of the Cynthia Yeh Mahler 3 Mallets is silky soft on one side for rolls and harder on the other side for articulation in the ornaments. Whats nice about the two sides is that the timbral change is minimal because both sides are covered in fleece, but the change in articulation is just right.
If you’re looking for new mallets to add to your sound healing toolkit, these rollers are great for spiritual healers, sound therapists, yoga instructors, and anyone working with gongs in their mindfulness practice.
