Description
This listing comes with a set of 6 tuning forks and a velvet carrying pouch.
Note: These tuning forks are made of aluminum, which is a soft metal, great for harmonics and sound healing. Because of this softness, you might find the occasional small mark or scratch. The fork isnt damaged, nor is the tuning off. It can happen during packing by the manufacturer, or during shipping and handling. We provide safe storage and great care when handling them.
The Solfeggio Scale is classic musical exercise we know as Do, Re, Me, Fa, Sol, La, Ti, and back to Do (the hills, indeed, are alive with the sound of music). It comes from a thousand year old musical practice, dating back to Benedictine Monks and a hymn to St. John the Baptist.
I remember being taught this scale in elementary music class, with the teacher making her mouth big so we could all imitate the sounds she made. By practicing making these sounds, we were connecting our subtle bodies to something powerfully inherent in the universe: the inherent, fixed relationships between musical frequencies.
These tuning forks are weighted to create a deeper tone than other tuning forks. They’re perfect for sound therapists and spiritual healers. Use them on the energy field surrounding the body. Each layer of the subtle body corresponds to a specific chakra in the body. Add them to your toolkit today. For reference, the tuning forks contained in this set correspond to the following chakras and notes:
Ut – 99 Hz – Root – Liberating Guilt and Fear
Re – 104.25 Hz – Sacral – Facilitating Change
Mi – 132 Hz – Solar Plexus – Transformation
Fa – 159.75 Hz – Heart – Connection / Relationships
Sol – 185.25 Hz – Throat – Awakening Intuition
La – 213 Hz – Third Eye – Connection to Spirit
