Description
This listing comes with one gong mallet.
Black Swamp Percussion’s vision is to create superior-quality, innovative percussion instruments that enable musicians of all skill levels to excel in their endeavors.
The Symphonic Gong Mallet offers incredible versatility for performers with its dual-purpose design and two distinct options of hard and soft. Constructed with a ply Birch base, this mallet has a slightly heavier design that enhances strike consistency and provides added force.
The wider side of the mallet base features a layer of spongy foam beneath felt that is designed for softer playing and is ideal for larger instruments.
The smaller side of the mallet offers enhanced articulation, boasting a harder foam layer beneath felt for precise, direct sound production. This side is particularly effective for repeated notes and smaller instruments, where a more focused attack is desired.
This mallet head has four rubber feet on its base for stability when not in use, with a convenient cord attached to the handle allows for easy transportation. The handle itself is made from solid ash, and has been elongated for better weight distribution and maneuverability.
