3M Scotch-Weld Anaerobic Activator AC649 is an acetone-based green surface activator/primer that cures anaerobic adhesives on inactive or very cold surfaces. For normal active surfaces, this activator accelerates both fixture and cure times significantly.
Accelerates both fixture and cure times significantly. Aids in the successful bonding of parts with larger bond gaps. Can be pre-applied up to 30 days in advance. Ideal for inactive or very cold surfaces. One-part surface activator for use with anaerobic adhesives. Promotes adhesion and cure of 3M Scotch-Weld Threadlocker, Pipe Sealant, Retaining Compound and Gasket Maker
