Designed specifically for shielding detector loop wires, our 3M Detector Loop Sealant 5000 cures to a tough rubber surface that encapsulates, insulates and protects while resisting weather and chemicals. Applied right from its ply pack, it hardens smooth without finishing and stays strong and flexible even in extreme temperatures. The sealant bonds with virtually any concrete or asphalt surface.
Compatible with concrete or asphalt, fresh or aged, wet or dry for consistent low maintenance results. Cures to a smooth surface no finishing required. Encapsulates, insulates and protects detector loop wires from harsh roadway environments. Ready to use, with no measuring, mixing or heating required. Sealant does not shrink, eliminating call-backs for refilling. Sealant remains temperature stable, so it wont degrade or fracture over time
