Description
Its height, the way the sunlight refracts when it passes through. It is there, you can see it, and you know what it is. It is a wave. But when it crashes on the shore, the wave is gone, yet the water remains. The wave was just a different way for the water to exist for a little while. It is one conception of death for Buddhists: the wave returns to the ocean where it came from, where it is supposed to be, a continuum, a rebirth.
We have engraved this Buddha Wave symbol onto our 38″ Deep Breath Gong for a lasting reminder to enjoy the swell fully and entirely in the moment without worrying about when you will crash or the waves behind you.
