The 3M Tack Pad has been developed especially for the automotive aftermarket to remove dirt, lint, dust and sanding particles prior to spraying primers, base coat or clear coat paints. Based on 3Ms non-woven technology, the pads tacky surface picks up dust and the three-dimensional web inside absorbs dust particles. Use it on metal, plastic, fiberglass or wood.
Conformable pad gets into grooves and contours of the workpiece for complete coverage. Specialized coating reduces adhesive transfer to hands or workpiece. Tacky pad thoroughly removes surface dust particles to provide a perfectly clean surface prior to paint or primer. Three-dimensional design draws dust into the pad for total dust collection without leaving drag marks behind. Unique design assists in removing light nibs
