3M Double Coated Film Tape 9589 features a high-density polyethylene carrier with synthetic rubber adhesive on a densified kraft paper liner. It combines high initial adhesion and good holding power to ensure it bonds to a variety of materials. The paper liner has been specially treated to improve its strength and removability characteristics.
Adhesive removes cleanly from many surfaces to ensure a relatively easy clean-up process. Excellent quick stick and high adhesion ensure a reliable bond to a variety of substrates. High density polyethylene carrier provides dimensional stability and tears by hand. This tape is in compliance with the FDA 21 CFR 175.105 guidelines for indirect food contact
